BIO
I’m a Medical Artist with a passion for drawing and human anatomy. I am based in London, UK and a professional member of the MAA (Medical Artists’ Association of Great Britain) and of the IMI (Institute of Medical Illustrations).
Captivated by the visual intricacy of the human body, I enrolled on the Medical Art postgraduate programme with the Medical Artists’ Educational Trust and have been practicing as a freelance Medical Illustrator since completing my training in 2016.
I have experience in working with a wide range of clients across the healthcare sector; collaborating with individual surgeons, clinicians, and scientists as well as institutions.
With my background in fine art and my knowledge of human anatomy, I offer carefully thought out designs that are both accurate and visually effective. Proposing a variety of different styles, using traditional or digital media, I aim to deliver high quality, bespoke artworks that communicate ideas and information efficaciously to my client’s desired audience.
Whether it’s an anatomical diagram or a detailed surgical sequence, my work is featured in medical textbooks, scientific journals, catalogues and patient information material.
Alongside my freelance work, I also teach Anatomy drawing at degree level at an independent art school in South East London. I run an intensive 10-week component analysing the human figure in its entirety, presenting the musculoskeletal structures in a lecture and identifying surface landmarks on the life model.
